Linda van Bijsterveldt

Linda van Bijsterveldt is a Principal Investigator at the Generative Biology Institute (EIT) in Oxford.

Linda earned a BSc degree from Leiden University and then MSc by Research and DPhil degrees in Oncology from the University of Oxford. In January 2022, she joined Jason Chin’s group at the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology (MRC-LMB) in Cambridge as a postdoctoral scientist, where she worked on SynHG. This project aims to develop the tools needed to synthesise human genomes.

Alex holds a BSc in Biological Sciences from the University of Warwick and an MRes in Synthetic Biology from UCL, where he worked on improving the efficiency of large-scale CRISPR/Cas9 genome editing using a novel extremophile DNA repair protein.
